Hello! Thanks for stopping by! I have a super fun card to share with you. I've used some fun Glitter Paper from Marianne Designs from Cut At Home!
I'm using the red and silver today. I've also used a couple of designs from The Paper Studio Glam Glitter stack.
Here's my finished birthday card:
To start, I cut a piece of white cardstock to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", then scored it at 4 1/4". This gives me a standard A2-sized card, which is 5 1/2" x 4 1/4":
For my first layer, I used Simple Stories Snap collection and cut a mat piece to: 5 1/4" x 4":
Then for my last layer (white cardstock) I cut that to 5" x 3 3/4":
I also added a piece of thin chipboard behind this layer to give it dimension. I adhered all my layers down with Angel Craft Tape. I printed my sentiment from the computer. You can stamp a sentiment if you'd like.
For my balloons, I've used Spellbinders Celebra'tions Hip Hip Horray Die set.
This is a fun set to have in your stash. I ran all my glitter papers through my Sizzix Big Shot Machine. I also cut several pieces of thin chipboard with the same die, which is then a perfect fit for behind my balloons.
I added white crochet twine to each balloon, then gathered that at the bottom with a bow that I cut from my Cameo and added an enamel dot to the center.
I really hope you've enjoyed this fun & sparkly card! In my opinion, everything is more fun with glitter! Thanks for stopping by...there's a process video of how this card came together, along with a full list of supplies used, stop by Cut At Home's Blog!
