Hello! Thanks for stopping by!

Today  for Cut At Home, I have a sweet Easel Card to share with you using the stunning Graphic 45 Mon Amour Collection.

Easel Cards to me, are such a gift in themselves. They can be displayed in such a pretty way. This size card would need to be hand-delivered, or sent in a bubble envelope. I always add mine to a clear bag before mailing it.
To make a similar card, cut a card base to 11" x 5 1/2". On the 11" side, score at: 2 3/4" & 5 1/2":

Cut a card front...this will be used as the front piece on your card. Cut to: 5 1/2" x 5 1/2", using matching cardstock. This piece will adhere to the bottom of your card front. This gives you your easel. You only want to glue this to the bottom piece of your card base. I like using wet adhesive, because it gives me a minute to move it around if need be. Only add your adhesive to the bottom portion, do not go over your score line. Here is what it will look like, once you've added your glue:

For my layers, I've cut a piece of pink scrap paper to 5 3/8" x 5 3/8". Using the beautiful G45 Mon Amour, and cutting it to 5 1/4" x 5 1/4", I've layered that on top of my pink mat using Angel Craft Tape . I then added a strip of the same pink cardstock, cutting it to 1/2" x 5 1/4", layered with white lace. For an embellishment, I've added the beautiful G45 Mon Amour Journaling Card. Behind that,  a Graphic 45 Black Tag, and a doily. I love the texture that adds to my card.

I've inked all the edges of my paper in Tim Holtz Distress Ink, Black Soot, using a Mini Ink Blending Tool, and adhere it all using .

I've added some beautiful Wild Orchid Craft Flowers, along with a few handmade flowers. I love adding paper flowers that matches the collection. For this, I've cut the G45 collection out using a Marianne Designs Rose Buds & Leaves Dies. These come with two sizes of rolled flowers, and leaves. For this, I used the smaller rolled rose, running it through my Sizzix Big Shot Machine. To shape my rolled roses,  I used Heartfelt Creations Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit...the flower curler. Then hot glue to hold them in place, adding round pearls to the
center.

For the inside of my card, I've added a 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" mat. Towards the bottom of my mat, I've added a piece of chipboard that has been covered with the same paper collection. This has been cut to 1/2" x 5 1/4". I then finished it with a few pearls, and a beautiful tag, using the G45 Mon Amour Journaling Chipboard.
