Mini album using Wild Orchid Crafts & Nitwit Collections!

Hello! Today I'm sharing a very sweet 6x5 mini album with you!

Throughout this album, I've used lot of Wild Orchid Crafts products. I have listed them below!

For the paper collection, I'm using OOh La La Paper Collection & Elements
from Nitwit Collections! There is a coupon code listed below!

If you've never made an album before, I have a full Mini Album Tutorial Series
on my YouTube Channel, that you can follow along. This album I'm sharing
today is different in size, therefore I've listed the measurements below to make
an album just like this one. Just follow my tutorial, but use these sizes! Or just
make a mini album in a 5x7 like I show in my tutorial!

In this album, I have 5 pages made from cardstock in an 'envelope' style.
Every page has a side pocket with a bracket-tabbed pull-out mat for more photos!

I've made an accordion-style mini to go on one of the pages, which
then allows me to add up to seven more photos, just on one page!

I've used lots of elements from the paper collection.
There are tickets, postage stamps, butterflies, etc.

I've added a heart pocket.

Thanks for stopping by! Please check out my YouTube Channel for a flip through of this album, along with a full start to finish on the embellishment of this album!

Please show some love for Wild Orchid Crafts and Nitwit Collections!
They both have beautiful products, which compliment each other very well!
Thanks for stopping by...hope you've enjoyed! Corene

  1. Hi Corene, I purchased this paper collection and several more after seeing your video. I let them know you where my inspiration. I also placed my first order with Wild Orchid Crafts this week. Their prices are less than if I could purchases them locally and their postal is unbelievable. I paid $5.10 here to Canada. That is less than what I pay from the US. Thanks so very much andI look forward to all your videos.

  2. Corene this is a lovely album, well ALL your albums are lovely. You have inspired me to try one. I noticed from watching earlier videos that you used the "stack the deck" and are now using Kathy Orta's hinge for this album is there a reason you switched?? I will be ordering from Nitwit soon and was pleased to hear Fay (above comment) mention the shipping from WO, so they will be on my order list as well. Love your video's keep 'em coming.

    1. Hi Deb! Thanks so much, I'm glad you're liking my albums :) Yes...you're absolutely right, I've used Laura Dennison's Stack the Deck for a long time, because I knew it easily, and I did not like the "wings" on Kathy Orta's hinge system. The reason I changed, is I never seem to make the same sized album. Every time I make one, I make a different size than the one before, and I was always having to stop & figure out the measurements for the hinge, so I decided to combine Laura's with Kathy's & I'm so happy with it now. I just don't add the "wings", and I never have to figure it out. It's 1/2", 1/2", then the size of your gusset, 1/2", 1/2", gusset...so it makes it quicker for me, and I'm much happier now. Hope this helps. Have fun with your album. I get such a great feeling when I finish an album :) Thanks so much for stopping by!
