Mini Album Tutorial on my YouTube Channel!

Hello! Thanks for stopping by! I wanted to share with you a Mini Album Tutorial
that I filmed on my YouTube Channel.


This is a 5" x 7" chipboard album, that has 6 pocket pages.


I will show you from start to finish, how to create this entire album.

    Excellent tutorial. Have you done anything similar with signatures of 6 pages of paper? I would like to incorporate your hinge idea into a junk journal.

    What is the "tieback" and what is it for?

      "Tyvek" and it is a material that is very hard to rip through. They use it for specific shipping envelopes as extra security to protect whatever it is you're sending through the mail. It can be purchased at an office supply store.

    If you made the album with 12 pages, would the measurements for the cover be the same? I understand the spine would have to be twice as wide as the 6 page album.

    Hi Joyce! Yes, it would be the same size for however many pages you wanted to be in the album.

    I am sorry Corene, I am still confused as to how to score my spine for a 12 page book. Can you please give me the sequence for scoring? Do I still use the 1/2 inch scores and 3/8 inch gusset and increase the spine size or use another sequence for scoring?

      Hi Joyce! Yes, you would still use the same sequence you would score 1/2 inch, 1/2 inch, 3/8 inch. Then keep doing that for, however many pages you need for your book. I have a mini album tutorial on my YouTube channel that goes into great detail on how to make your hinge and a mini album in general. If you go to my YouTube channel “Corenescreations” And search “Mini album tutorial”, you should find my video there and hopefully that will be helpful to you.
